Our staff will:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 35px;\">\n<li>Request that you show proof of your identity and residence, (several methods can be used).<\/li>\n<li>Determine if you meet income guidelines of the program. To qualify you must show proof that:\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 35px;\">\n<li>You receive KTAP, Food Stamps or Medicaid, or<\/li>\n<li>A pregnant woman or infant in your household receives Medicaid, or<\/li>\n<li>A member of your household receives KTAP, or<\/li>\n<li>Your household income is at or below 185% of poverty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Household size includes unborn baby.<\/p>\n<p>Persons who receive medicaid or Food Stamp benefits automatically meet income requirements.<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chfs.ky.gov\/agencies\/dph\/dmch\/nsb\/wnm\/WIC%20Income%20Guidelines.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CLICK HERE <\/a><\/strong> for income guidelines for 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT WILL I RECEIVE?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HEALTHY FOODS \u2013 WIC checks will be given to you monthly for the purchase of specific foods. WIC helps mothers make infant feeding choices such as encouragement to breastfeed and proper introduction of solid foods into the infants diet the first year of life.
