The goal A1C is less than 7% for most people with diabetes.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"h2\">Blood Pressure <\/span><\/strong>&#8211; For most people with diabetes, goal blood pressure is less than 130\/80.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"h2\">Cholesterol <\/span><\/strong>&#8211; LDL or the \u201cbad\u201d cholesterol should be less than 100 mg\/dl. Triglycerides \u201cfat in the blood\u201d should be less than 150 mg\/dl.
