We are staffed with qualified professionals, providing quality in-home health care. Nurses work closely with your doctor(s). The Kentucky River District Home Health Programs are designed to provide appropriate care allowing persons to remain at home avoiding admittance into nursing homes or other skilled nursing facilities.<\/p>\n All home care needs can be arranged by the staff in our home health counties.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”HOME HEALTH SERVICES” _builder_version=”4.16″ title_text_color=”#213c98″ title_font=”|800||on|||||” title_font_size=”18px” custom_margin=”0px||10px|” custom_padding=”|||” border_width_all=”2px” border_color_all=”#213f98″ box_shadow_style=”preset3″ box_shadow_vertical=”6px” box_shadow_blur=”13px” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Our Home Health program provides skilled nursing visits by RNs which may include: wound care, dressing changes including wound vac therapy, IV therapy, venipunctures, Foley catheter care, PICC\/Central Line maintenance, medication management, patient\/caregiver teaching, and skilled observation\/management which may include: monitoring of chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiopulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, etc.<\/p>\n The Kentucky River District Home Health Agency provides 24 hour, seven days a week on call service.\u00a0 A Registered Nurse is available to provide skilled nursing visits to the patients on an as needed basis.<\/p>\n To be eligible, patients must meet specific insurance\/program guidelines.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”PAYMENT” _builder_version=”4.16″ title_text_color=”#213c98″ title_font=”|800||on|||||” title_font_size=”18px” custom_margin=”0px||10px|” custom_padding=”|||” border_width_all=”2px” border_color_all=”#213f98″ box_shadow_style=”preset3″ box_shadow_vertical=”6px” box_shadow_blur=”13px” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance usually cover the cost of Home Health Care. Care can also be paid for by the individual or family. Requirements and benefits of private insurance vary greatly. Kentucky River District Home Health and the insurance company can assist in determining your health care coverage.
