These services include dental varnish, well child exams, hearing and vision screenings, chronic disease management, health education and referrals for acute or chronic illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>The school nurses adhere to guidelines set forth by the Kentucky Department of Public Health and the Core Clinical Service Guide to insure nursing care is provided at the highest professional standard.
